The unveiling of the site board last Thursday, 18 June 2015, marked the official start of the Maasboulevard Thorn project. Three holiday parks will be created in cooperation with the Municipality of Maasgouw: Maasresidence, Comfortparc Wessem and Parc Vijverbroek.

Two projects – Comfortparc Wessem and Parc Vijverbroek – are being developed by Euroresorts, while the Limburg property developer Roger Grouwels is developing the Maasresidence. This Maastricht-based company has already invested more than 100 million euros in this project alone.

The projects will form one unified whole in the future, with Euroresorts being responsible for the entire operation and lettings for all three holiday parks. The Municipality of Maasgouw, in cooperation with GOML, will link all three parks together by means of walking and cycle routes.

The Maasresidence project will be the first to come on the market. Phase 1 of the sale will begin in early 2016 and will comprise 87 leisure homes and 30 apartments.
